The road back - 6 weeks off the bike is bad for you

Well I have been back on the bike for a fortnight. On Tuesday week I rode to work for the first time since the accident. It was good to be out there even though I was a bit saddle sore and I was back in time for things to get a bit Alfred Hitchcock as regards the magpies. As things progressed the commute got better and I was able to get to and from work and too and from TAFE without any serious problems.

The road back - second stage

I have begun the second stage of the road back. I decided to take myself shopping the other day and decided to check out the pricing on helmets. Given the last one prevented the prang from being worse than it was, I decided to get one from the LBS rather than go online. I got the feeling that the online price war has had it's effect on the local bike shops given one only stocked RJays and the others likewise had limited stock.
