Another piece of 2d design that's problematic 3d. Perhaps banking or berming would make it safer. If it is cycle funds then cycle design ought to take precedent over ped design naturally. ta for tip about tyres, fitted Racing Ralphs at the…

I wonder what 1000 of those signs would cost us, including clamps? Better value than BNSW membership. I have found drivers honouring that one, then again isn't there a street called Bogan St parallel, for them to use?

I could see that as being provocative too. People will be violent on occasion. Yes it can escalate. Jesus turned the other cheek. They crucified him.

The first I have seen. I truly dislike any traffic calming devices. I guess this may help but do most drivers would prefer to race you to the sign than give way once you are at the kangaroo grass?

Sydney-Melbourne 2 Safe routes

Posted by Merv McCusker on February 9, 2012 at 5:14pm 4 Comments

Somewhat aghast that charity riders and others are still using the dangerous Princess highway to Melb Please consider the following two routes on generally quite back roads. Have you ever considered carrying an Epirb?

Posted by Chris Hansen on February 8, 2012 at 7:30pm 6 Comments
