Working with Object Gallery as part of their Try This At Home program, we are pleased to invite to attend our first Australian workshop! And how lucky we are to be hosting it at the Cycle Re Cycle Workshop.
This workshop is for those interested in learning the ins and outs of using your bicycle to create electricity.
The workshops have a good balance of theory and hands-on experience. Participants can discover how to use their own bike as part of a small power station, capable of powering computers, stereos, TVs and other small household appliances.
Basic D.I.Y skills are an advantage but are not essential to take part in any of our workshops.
Participants will find out about:
Basic system design
Load assessment
Power generation
Electricity storage using batteries
DC to AC systems
Control and monitoring of power.
We will be running two identical 4 hour workshops over the course of the day, so you have a choice of times to attend.
10am - 2pm
3:30pm - 7pm
The workshop is free, but there are limited places. RSVP IS ESSENTIAL. Please contact greer@magnificentrevolutionaustralia.org to book.
