Event Description

As part of the Town Hall Reopening celebration, the City of Sydney will be hosting a special "Cycling in the City' cycling centre at the 3-day event at Town Hall Square.

At the centre you will be able to pick up free puncture repair kits and copies of our popular 'Live Green Sydney Cycling Map' - a great guide to the best cycling routes around the city, as well as going in the draw to win a Trek bicycle.

It's a fantastic opportunity to have your bike looked at by a trained professional for free with out on-site bike mechanic. Available on-site: Friday 5 and Saturday 6 March from 10:00am - 8:00pm; and Sunday 7 March, 10:00am - 6:00pm

The City is also running a special series of our hugely popular free bike maintenance workshops. These fantastic workshops teach you the basics of looking after your bike so that you can cycle safely and reliably.

Topics covered include basic maintenance, fixing your brakes, and how to change a flat tire. These are hands-on workshops and you will need to bring your own bike. The bike maintenance workshops are two hours in length and spaces are strictly limited to just ten people per class so make sure to arrive early if you want to hold a spot.

The workshops are running: Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March, 12:00pm & 3:00pm
