Event Description
Once again the Sartorial needs of the city will be met with the 3rd annual Tweed Ride Sunday July 31st 2011.
A slow and elegant ride through the city streets in dapper and ladylike apparel.
8am
Registrations start at Town Hall. You must show your helmet at the sign in and wear it during the ride. No helmet no ride.
9am
Ride to start following pre assigned route and stopping at pre assigned photo points and marshalling points before coming to the finish.

Are MAMIL-esque riders allowed in the vicinity ? I've got o/s visitors around for that weekend and think that this may/might be interesting sight for them!

Why don't they come along and join the ride? It will be at a nice leisurely pace but we pass some great sites and it's a fun day out. There will certainly be more than one carbon bike on the ride so any kind of bike is welcome just grab a bit of wool or tweed and come along!

Susan, I've just registered my attendance. I'll be there with my daughter and maybe one other. Where does the ride finish?

Hi Oldbikerider, we're just getting the last of the paperwork signed off regarding the route (lots of hoops and red tape) but we'll be able to let everyone know soon where the finish is.
