Surely, as cyclists who survive riding on the mean streets of sydney (humour intended), we can survive the fact that people might disagree with our opinions. Can't we ?

Only rode 12 ks today, so I don't want to hug anyone. Speak to me tomorrow after 40ks or so. Although, on second thoughts, I may have ridden far enough today to just give someones bum a squeeze.

The man's right.
I spoke a few days ago with a woman who asked a question on this site 2 mth ago and caused a record in the number of responses. She has not been logging on as she was so dismayed by what she termed the 'lynch mob' mentality here.
Yesterday I read that even mild mannered Colin dislikes those (me) who wear lycra and ride fast. Come on! Where is the luv?
