Cycling in Sydney Australia
These energy bars aren't otherwise available in Australia, and I got introduced to them last month care of Team Type 1 - SANOFI at the Jayco Herald Sun Tour.
My goodness they are good. The bars come in about 12 different and exotic flavours, and they actually taste amazing! Like proper food. No enduring your energy bar for the sake of it, you can savour these. Choose from flavours including carrot cake, crunchy peanut butter, choc chip peanut crunch, banana nut bread and apricot.
The "Shot Bloks" and Clif gels are pretty good value at these prices too.
Currently on sale through Torpedo 7:
But hurry - sale is for 48 hours and ends Friday morning.

If you really need your food to come in energy-dense rectangular rods and taste sweet, make your own Birdseed Bars - they were the original, homemade energy bar, my five year old can make them and with fresh organic ingredients taste beyond delicious.
Permalink Reply by Andrew on November 17, 2011 at 2:25pm I make something similar with rolled oats, dark chocolate, sultanas (or other chopped dried fruits), butter and honey. Melt butter and honey together, mix with dry ingredients, press into a tray and bake at approx 180 for 10minutes. Remove from oven, waitg for it to go hard and slice

Stop it Ferdinand, you're distracting them from a serious discussion here.
I'm not really complaining.
Cliff's bar doesn't compare when you look at it.
