Fantasy Tour de France

Has everyone entered their team here yet? Damien, maybe you could set up a SydneyCyclist league. Or I can do it if you like...

Basically, the idea is: you select a bunch of riders and then get awarded points depending on their performance in each stage of the TdF. Just something to make watching the race more exciting :-)

ok people, I've set up a league for Sydney Cyclist.

Go to the game ( at http://fantasytdf.sbs.com.au/?page=register ), pick your team then use the ‘mini-league admin' option to join my mini-league.

The details you need are:

(in honour of Sydney's new favourite cyclist!)

Well, the results are in for the Tour de France 2009... Fantasy TDF that is...

There were some tussles for 2nd and 3rd on the podium, but in the Yellow Jersey with a clear margin (just like Contador) was Trafalgar.

Well done to the podium finishers of our mini-league!

I'd like to wait, however, until the results of the drug tests are in before accepting the final standings. We all know what happened in 2006.

Anyway, I'm sad that the race is over for another year. Nothing quite like watching that struggle up Mt Ventoux.
