Green Drinks Evening - any suggestions for (good, brief) speakers?!

We're trying to get Sydney's diverse cycling community to come together for informal drinks night. (And bring in people who may be thinking of cycling in this city.)

If you have any suggestions for how we could make the night more interesting, please let us know. And you're welcome to spread the word.

Actually, we're thinking of having 2 or 3 people speak for just 5 minutes each about cycling. If you have any suggestions for who would be good, please let us know.

Green Drinks is an informal meet up of people with an interest in the environment. We get together on the first Tuesday of the month and often focus on a different aspect of sustainability. This time round we're celebrating the bicycle.

We welcome Sydney's cycling community to come and have a drink with us. The date is 1st September - from 6 to 9pm. The venue is The Alexandria Hotel. You can find more info and a location link at:

We'll also be giving away a bike and showing films from the Bicycle Film Festival. Should be a great night with 100+ people. We're aiming to have bike valet parking.
