Labour pledges £50 a head active travel spend to get England cycling

As you can see, it's not here, but imagine how things would change if it was! UK has a population of over 67 million compared to our 25ish million, and theirs is a much more compact area. Our various levels of government spend nowhere near this projected annual spend of ~$13.8 billion on cycling. The labour intensive nature of the work involved on cycling infrastructure would get our economy moving, but the flat-earthers in the liarbrels think that a budget surplus is paramount, so spending on cycling infrastructure is just a pipe dream!

Saw that it was 10% of the transport budget. Pretty amazing. Hopefully Boris might match it.
