Cycling in Sydney Australia
Lazy Sunday Cycle is expanding to Sydney! Please come along to the first ride on Sunday 10 March 2013 (at roughly 10:00 AM, exact details coming soon).
More information on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/lazysundaycyclesydney/
..and on the Lazy Sunday Cycle website: http://www.lazysundaycycle.weebly.com/
Lazy Sunday Cycle is a very slow ride over a relatively short distance and is aimed at anyone and everyone who wants to ride a bicycle for fun; enthused and confident cyclists, people who are ‘interested but a little bit concerned’ about cycling, people who just want to get out there and have a go at cycling and people who want to cycle with other people. It’s aimed at everyone and anyone; young people, old people, families with children with stabilisers, people with fancy bikes and people with cargo bikes and people with bikes with baskets!
We’ll be organising a sausage sizzle at the end of the ride and would love to see a good turnout of less experienced cyclists.
As mentioned, the first ride will likely be at 10:00 AM on Sunday 10 March 2013 and will take place on the Cooks River at Marrickville. Once we’ve sorted out the finer points we’ll let you know.
For now, please feel free to ‘like’ and follow the Lazy Sunday Cycle Sydney facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/lazysundaycyclesydney/
Sounds great Tom, I hope it is successful.
There may be some slow bicycle peole who are late (but not deceased) bicycle people too, or have to come from some distance away - any chance of a later start?
For anyone interested:

I love this concept and would really like to get a Melbourne event going. Really wish I could get up to Sydney in March.
