Magpie on Epping/Centennial Rd

Riding to work today on Epping Rd, heading west, on the separated bit next to the park with the traction engine after Centennial Rd intersection go swooped and snapped very close to my right ear.

First one of the season.

I've been riding this route for ~4.5 years and never been swooped here. Have I just been missing all the fun?

Anyone else been swooped here?
