There is a large temporary steel plate when heading toward Parramatta road, which might be difficult to see in the dark. It wouldn't be much fun to hit at speed, or in the wet, when negotiating the right-hand bend in Booth Street.
Saw that today. Looks decidedly dangerous. No way to avoid it unless you use the footpath on western side, which some cyclists are doing. Just a big smooth steel plate with a few bolts sticking up as well. Shower or two forecast Sunday /Monday so watch it. Bad enough even if no steel plate, due to adverse camber on that side of the roundabout.
