Cycling in Sydney Australia
This is a story from the US that hasn't had a lot of exposure here and you may not have heard about it unless you are in the cycling blog circles. Velomom (Jen) lost her son Axel in a tragedy last year and as a committed cycling family they chose to honour his memory by starting The Axel Project as a way to get kids riding using balance bikes and providing those bikes to children in need.
The Axel Project is now struggling for funds. In this blog post Jen points out ways that people can help. One of the ways that we have chosen to help is by spreading the word. If you or an organisation that you know can help please consider The Axel Project.
