Unusual Findings on Cycleways / Shared Use Paths etc.......
Today I went on Western Sydney Cycling Network's Monthly Community Ride. Along the Cabramatta Creek Cycleway I found this. What have you found somewhere totally unexpected?

My place backs onto the Lane Cove National Park, and we have some nice big Powerful Owls that hang out in the trees outside my place.
We saw one of them swoop down and grab a poor unsuspecting possum (ringtail), so it certainly does happen. I just wish they would catch one or two of the cats that also hang out around my place.
I have seen my friends cat "defeather" a few pigeons and indian mynah birds, and behead a mouse or two, but the furthest he has ever managed with a possum is to drag it to the front doorstep, perhaps it was already dead and he just found it. I watched two bushtail possums chasing each other around outside my place a couple of weeks ago. They took off straight up a large gum tree, and when they got about 15m up, their little fight resulted in both of them doing a free fall straight to the ground right in front of me. They just got up and scampered away!
