Yes, damn the auto connect!
I use Android Swype keyboard and after a couple of months of use I'm still getting used to its foibles. It's awesome when it's working properly but it has a habit of backtracking and changing things when you least expect it!

Swype is incredibly fast. You simply need to double check before hitting the send button. That's the part I don't do very well.
