Audax Riders

Audax rides are non-competitive long distance tours by bicycle, called "randonnees". The challenge of Audax is not in racing, but in riding at your own pace. Rides are open to all reasonably fit riders - non-Audax members are most welcome to join.

Enjoy. I was looking forward to it, but feeling under the weather. Looks like it will be a beautiful day for a ride.

looks like a nice day for tomorrow, 19 riders registered at this stage for Hawkesbury Howler.

Was I included in the 19? Might be 20.

nice work finishing Rob Berry, glad you got a new cable.

The day was great, really enjoyed riding with so many riders (21 turned up) and being in groups for most of the time. Fantastic finishing with so many others even so I was almost totally spent at the top of Galston Gorge.

Thanks to all.

I had a back wheel puncture just before Galston, thanks to  Rob for coming back, as it was difficult changing the tube in the pitch black - but thats a different story!

so Mark, you are the muscle suit man on the green machine? Great effort.

That was not me! It was someone else who came with my mate. They never did a 200km ride before and found it really hard. I have done 5&200Km rides this season.

Great Festum Prophetae ride report from Tim Emslie with lots of great photos, this and the "Follow the River.." Two week later where it rained for 12 hours are everything I had expected Audax to be, now only have to wait for the 40 degree Summer ride
