Is anyone doing the 200km or 300km ride on Saturday from Berowa @ 05.45? If so, see you there as I attempt my first 300km

I will be Mark, but doing the 200, can't miss the opportunity of riding up Bumble Hill. ;o).

If all goes well with work this week I'll be doing a 200 on Friday as well, topping that with 100 on Sunday morning.

That's the plan but I have my doubts as to whether it will come together that way.

I am toying with the idea. Did WWRRTT 200 yesterday (Ian & Katherine yesterday - they were doing it as a permanent and I just tagged along). Feeling a bit fatigued today, so feeling a bit meh towards long rides :)

Registration open and good luck on your 300 Mark, a few others signed up to go with you already.

registered for the Go Loopy 600, now I just have to maintain fitness to get through it.

Thanks Mark and congratulations on your 300, huge mental hurdle overcome, the next 300 will be easier.

The first 129km were ridden alone, the rest with 2 others, Dave and Grant. We got to Wyong at 5.30 pm so we had the last 66km or so back to Brooklyn in the dark. Really found the last 50km hard, not just because of the three big climbs, but mentally as well, as you say. Looking forward to the next one now!

How long does it normally take for Brevet Cards (& any purchased ride badges) to arrive back after a ride. Looking at the Brevet Status on Audax.org.au it looks like nothing has been sent to regional brevet secretaries in the last 3 months. I was waiting to show off my first ride badge from mid May but now have 4 in the system somewhere.

It can take a long time for brevet cards to be returned from Paris, so wait at least 3 months. Also remember the French take most of July and August off work!
