Hi I recently moved to Merrylands, and I did some research and I commute this way. http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Merrylands-to-Macquarie-Park-Optus. I tried to use Grand Ave and use Thackeray St, but it looks like the bridge going across Parramatta river was closed. Does anyone know better way???

Hi John, I couldn't bypass the Thackeray St Bridge the other day, so I will go up north from M4 cycle way to Harris St. I find a new path from Alan St to Clyde St in Rydalmere is almost complete.

My BikeNorth membership recent lapsed and I am planning to direct my limited resources and time to CAMWEST. Looking forward to seeing how I can help out in 09 and join/possibly scoop/lead some local Parra rides.

Just to let you know I actually got a letter confirming that they recieved my feedback about the Parramatta bike plan and advised that they would get in contact with me for more information. Unsure whether this is just a standard letter and I will never hear back from them

John spotted you today riding up past northmead shops... nice Surly LHT... very nice commuter setup! Any plans for doing an out to windsor ride on a saturday or maybe with the heat... a m7 night ride heading from Parra out?
