Rob, that is a very deep question. My theory on theology and cycling is as follows:
1. If Jesus was alive today, he'd ride a bike (I'll leave the type for another argument)
2. God rides with me each morning

Cool, I think also, cycling is makes you more vulnerable but also more accessible for conversations with people, therefore we can engage others and share the good news

There are some good rides around Manly, preferable not on peak hour weekends. Are you a confident cyclist or prefer to stick to bike paths? Are you Ok with riding on quiet roads. Often BikeNorth have some organised rides around there too. There are some great sights. There are bike hire places in the northern beaches area... just google cycle shops around the manly area.
