Female Friendly Bike Club
Hello everyone,
Relatively new to this site so apologies if this is in a bad space. If you have feedback and recomendations where to post please let me know.
Im sending out this to ask for feedback because I have recently put forward a proposal for cycle re-cycle aka the nunnery bike club to start holding a night free of any males as this would support learning in a safe positive environment free of any intimidation or possibility of sexist attitude or discomfort. Plenty of bike clubs/co-ops throughout the world have these nights successfully and help to grow confidence in cyclists of all genders.

Firstly, interested in how many people would appreciate and use such a venue and what days would work best (at the moment general bike club runs mon & wed)
Secondly, if you have bike/mechanical knowledge and would like to help out, know people that would like to help out, or volunteer your time to help run this?
Im interested in any feedback you have about this proposal and everyone is welcome to put forward ideas and suggestions to help foster this idea into action!

I think this is a great idea and I would definitely love to be a part of this.
I've wanted to go to bike club for awhile but it's tricky for me because I'm not from the area.

OK we are going to have a meeting next tuesday!
For anyone who would like to help out, be a volunteer or just attend the nights and wants to know more, we have almost been given the okay for our nights on tuesdays probably starting in a couple of weeks!!
We just need to work out the details and make sure we have enough people to help run the nights especially people with mechanical knowledge to help skill share.
If you are interested please shoot me a msg/email etc as the place is yet to be confirmed as we would like to get a rough idea how many people. Somewhere in newtown most likely around 6 or 7pm.
Share with anyone you think might be interested. The better attendance this is the better chance we have of getting this going :)
