What's lacking in bike accessories and clothing out there?

Don't despair girls there are people in Sydney striving to blend style with cycling. Always lots of discussions on outfits and happenings on the Sydney Girls Bike Club group that you might want to take a look at too?

Copenhagen cycle chic states in it's manifesto that the only item of cycling-related clothing that may be worn is a helmet, if one exercises their free choice in doing so. I'd also add gloves, because of my last two spills my gloves saved a bit of skin both times. Though, I am looking out for a nice pair of brown leather gauntlets for winter riding.

Always colour co- ordinated, I spend more on my lycra then any other clothes. I order my cycle gear from "Team estragon

One for the ladies:

Small Leather purses and clutch bags (I think that is what you call them) make the perfect saddle bag - it is preferable that it has a flap over the top which closes it. Take off the shoulder strap (if there is one), and cut a 12mm dowel to fit cross-ways inside. Take two small screws (use washers) and screw into the dowel from the back of the bag. Cut slits in the back of the bag just above and just below the dowel at the two places which line up with your saddle loops. If you don't have saddle loops, you can just attach it to the rails of the saddle. (Zip-ties do the trick in both cases).

Best done to retro-styled bags that you find at the op shop.

Even a goose (or is it a duck?) knows when bad cycling fashion is afoot:

Two-Wheeled Adventures around Edmonton (Canada)

I like the helmet that she is wearing. Although I am inclined to believe that here we would need something with a few more vent holes for our summer.

By the way - I envy anyone who owns a Pashley!

Maybe not very 'chic'... but does anyone know where to get flouro/neon leggings or cycling pants?

Who was asking about skirt guards recently? Here's a cute one:
