Great news Ian. I can understand why you might be excited. These late model Brompton's, with minimal personalized mods, work a treat. And the S Type, for me, feels 'bike'. I am myself, getting an indulgent kick out of the new arrival(Chato). I tend toward seeing the Brompton as a small bike that compactly folds, rather than a folding bike. You won't have trouble making additional room for this little demon. I ordered a few gearing mods from Tiller Cycles, and will post my impressions for others, once properly tested. Lenny and Heathwood, will go this way first.

And yes, the pizza ramble was an enjoyable engaging late afternoon with fellow Brompton owners. Cheeky Transport can only be applauded for their very generous approach to binding us to a Brompton community.

Hoping Mrs. Aussie (Naomi) is mending to the doctors best expectations. Does it make you appreciate all that she does for you? LOL

Like all tandems, I find it fascinating but not captivating (but never been on one - & not fussed). Expressed in Brompton terms that seems to be nearly 3 times for both weight & price?
