now that Folding Fanciers has reached a critical mass is there any interest in repeating the ride that gareth and myself did in 2010. Edge of CBD start and finish, minimal hills,cycle paths or designated cycle routes, 20-30k, stop for lunch or coffee, mainly edge of harbour and Cooks River cycleway and Alexandria canal, no rush just enjoyment. Any Folder interested?

Hi Matt. Never mind about the Gareth, it reminds me of someone I used to know a long time ago who always called me that so it sounds quite natural to me. It would be good to do that ride again, especially now the weather is milder. With luck we will get some more starters this time, and the ride gets to be inaugural all over again on account of the new group.

Where and when is the next proposed origami ride? It is a bit hit-and-miss with free days or weekends at the moment, but if I know well in advance I might be able to attend with the old R20.

possible ride same as last years without getting slightly lost on the section Gardeners Rd to Redfern. We started at Belmore Park, Central and rode via the Harbour parks to Annandale. Then via cyclepaths to Summer Hill shops. Via cycle paths to Cooks River cycleway.At Cooks park Tempe down the Alexandria Canal path to Mascot. Bourke Road cycle path to Redfern then through Price Alfred park cycleway back to Central.Only up one slight hill at Redfern. Stop anywhere we please. Alternative is the reverse. Directions supplied on a sheet.

While waiting to get on the ferry at Bundeena today I saw a group of folders with Bike Friday stickers on them, most of them had panniers tacked on too. Anyone had experience with this foldie ?
