Hi Bob

I'm interested in getting involved with an informal group of cyclists who go on rides around Sydney.  I'm based in Alexandria and was wondering whether the Sunday rides still go ahead?  I'm a novice bike rider with a hybrid bike.  I'm relatively fit and as well as enjoying the exercise I would also like the social aspect of having a group to ride with. 

 

If you could send me any more info I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Jacqui,
Yes, we are doing regular rides. One is on this Sunday, riding the M7. Train from Central 815 am to Seven Hills, arr 8.58 am.
On first Sunday of the month we do an EasyRide, which is an out and back from Leichhardt, various routes along the Bays, out to Homebush, Cooks River, etc, at an easy pace for beginners or not so fast riders. Next one is May 6. We meet at the Bakehouse Cafe in Moore St Leichhardt from about 8 am, departing 815 am if we can tear ourselves away.

Another ride on tomorrow. Riding to Pyrmont and then over to Everleigh craft Market. A bit late notice I know, but thereis always next month- first Sunday of every month. 815 am at the Bakehouse Cafein Moore St, Leichhardt.

Well, here we are, 4 years later, and still doing Easyrides. Next one is on Sunday, out to Bicentennial Park. Meet 8am at the Bakehouse Cafe in Moore St, Leichhardt for a pre ride coffee, head off abt 830. All welcome, easy pace, suit beginners. Back by Noon.
