Comment by Garryw on February 13, 2010 at 11:23pm: Hi Martin, I met a lady a few days ago riding an authentic Swiss Army bike, they are something to behold. This one had the original name plate/serial number etc which is a thick and wide alloy casting rivetted to the rear brake bridge, and the chainwheel was very heavy (around 5/16" thick) with matching chain looking more like something fdrom a small motorcycle! She said she had friends in Switzeralnd who had sent it to her. The very high mounted mudguards are a distinctive feature.
