The ride will be on a Sunday in June the exact day will be announced at a later date.

Yes you have to wear tweed or wool or suitable old style apparel.

It will start at Sydney Town Hall no other details on route are available at this time.

Damn it must be harder and harder to source good tweed outfits....Oh well am sure I can source something. I recommend that rocket fuel have a stand at the end of the ride and also someone have cycle made smoothies at the end of the ride. I guess the end being at Centennial Park is a good idea ?? The only costs I see for such a ride would be advertising and traffic management both could be waived by COS I would think. Perhaps a grant could go to having a documentary of the event and then interview people on their cycle experiences before and after the ride ?? It could then be submitted to the BFF in November ?? Be sure to get counters on the new CPH lanes and the ride will aid in adding cycle numbers to combat the new antagonists against CPH lanes in the city. Morning Susan!  Do you know when will the date be confirmed?  Could we have more notice than last year, so we can make sure we are available / in town / etc.  So excited!  :-)

No news when the date will be confirmed yet we are in organising process at the moment and in talks with many groups to make it a great day.

 

It will be a Sunday in June it won't be the long weekend.

Hi All I saw a great shop in Coolangatta which was selling a tweed beret and hat. Too small for my 56cm head though. It is on a great retro shop at the back end of Coolangatta. Who would ve thought such old threads could ask for such a price. An ideal shop which could be easily placed in Newtown. I recommend trying any op shops or retro shops as you never know...

Not unsurprising that they have a limit to their rides, they offer full catering and some streets they go down need to be totally shut off to all traffic to allow the ride to pass through.

This year the London ride was limited to 500 people and online registration was full in under 3 minutes.
