Vintage old school BMX

Vintage old school BMX

I was a BMX'er int he golden years of the 80's and now relive that with a load of fellow enthusiests who collect and restore BMX bikes from the late 70's to the late 80's. If you use to love you BMX back in the day drop in and say G'day.

Hi all,
I got a Europa full suspension bmx, mid 70s from the looks of it. Similar to the Yamaha. Coaster brake on rear wheel. Heavy as. Does anyone know where I can find info and photos. Europa were no help.

I never had BMX bikes back in the late 70's & early 80's as I was into other things.
I was already married [for the second time] & was busy building a home, & life & a Hot Rod.
Now that I'm too old to ride I am very much into my Quicksilver collection & researching the history of Competition Development, the manufacturer of Quicksilver bikes.

The fact that they were made near Sydney means that i have been able to track down some of the former employees & the search for knowledge continues.

Howdy all.

Some may recognise my bikes from other forums. The only real old school BMX i have is the Repco Monoshock. I have a few new school and retro repro's that I love.
I had a Kuwahara back in the day and now I have found the whole retro BMX scene, I'm reliving my child hood. I built a KZ-1R as a replica of my old bike.
