I get to work, park my bike in a quiet corner of the office, grab the plunger off my desk, head to the kitchen, and make myself a long black with espresso coffee. Then I settle in for a period of reading bike blogs while drinking my long black. Mmm, post-ride coffee!

Some time later I start actually working.

Post-ride coffee? Mid-ride coffee is the best! Gives me the power and happiness for hills or the motivation to get the rest of the way to work on a Monday morning:)

Mayan cafe - its just amazing single origin beans but all about the espresso. Chile breakfast tortillas and caffeine = power day at work!

Cronulla
Grind cafe - so smooth and has coffee you have never heard of. Maraccino (shot of espresso over a shot of melted belgian chocolate) was just bliss after riding in the rain!

Please consider that the end of the ride is too far away. Naomi with her mid ride coffee sounds better. I have another option.

My bike has a cup holder. Twice I have experienced the misfortune of going over the gutter too fast, the first time the lid came off and I had to wait till I got to work before getting a coffee. The second time I was lucky, I only lost a drop or 2 of the precious liquid.

Coffee Guys, Kedron Park/Clayfield Qld. These guys are good but my fav is:
Garage Sth Bank. These guys are chok a blok on a Staurday morning but done fiorget the cyclist. Infact thats there main clientele in the morning and they thrive on the cyclsts recomendations. Check them out if in the Brisvegas

There's a good place near where I'm working at the moment that usually has a few bikes out front.

Koko on Holt st in Surry Hills. If you hang around there you also get to spot a certain BikeSydney president on her way to the office :)

Anyone else tried Vellutonero on Clarence St? They won all the coffee awards at last year's Easter show. Nearest thing to a Campos in the city

Will have to give that a shot. If I'm in that area I usually go to Mecca on King st. It's gooooood.
