Blog Competition Terms and Conditions

Sydney Cyclist, Melbourne Cyclist and Brisbane Cyclist Blog Competition Terms and conditions. 1. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. All entries are via posting a blog entry to sydneycyclist.com, melbournecyclist.com or brisbanecyclist.com. This is a Game of Skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. 2. To enter the competition, users will be required to be a member or one of the above websites and post a blog post within the nominated theme. The user must also tag their entry as requested each cycle. 3. Entry to the competition is open to all Australian members of sydneycyclist.com, melbournecyclist.com and brisbanecyclist.com. Employees of companies associated with the promotion are ineligible for entry. 4. The competition commences on biweekly and closes biweekly, exact opening and closing dates and times will be posted on each site in every cycle. 5. All entries will be read and judged every two weeks after the closing date of each cycle. The winners will be notified on sydneycyclist.com,melbournecyclist.com and brisbanecyclist.com and via email. Winners will be determined on the relevance of their content and creativity. 6. Prizes will change each cycle and will be listed in the competition details on the site - currently the prizes are: Major prize: 6 x major prizes of Where to Ride Guide, 1 x High5 Zero Electrolyte Tablet Tube (20 tablets), 1 x Bonk Breaker Bars in Peanut Butter & Banana or Honey Butter & Almond, 1 x High5 Energy Gel Sachets in Citrus, 1 x MuleBar Energy Bar in Pina Colada, A tube of Aussie Butt Cream. The total prize pool is valued at a maximum of $453.30. There will be two major prize winners from each site. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. 8. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any other prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 9. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once prizes have left Promoter's premises, the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes. 10. The promoter reserves the right to use the winning entries across the three sites to promote the competition and future promotions without rights payment to entrant. 11. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition 12. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
