Atop the famous Col d'Aspin (1489m) there is usually a free-ranging herd of pretty brown cows. These are actually demons in bovine disguise. If they spot a baguette sticking out of your unattended bicycle pannier, you can say goodbye to your lunch.
That cow has a nasty gleam in its eye now...

I love cows! Met an apple stall guarding pig in NZ that had the same gleam:)
