Apparently nobody like them!
Comment by bp on June 29, 2012 at 1:56pm Awesome. What model and year is that?
Comment by John Knight on June 29, 2012 at 2:31pm Not sure exactly.
The closest I can find on the internets is here - 2000 Fuji Newest
Mine has a Fuji Cro-Mo sticker at the top of the seat post and another sticker at the bottom that reads "Designed and Assembled in Australia". So I suspect it is some kind of Aussie Fuji hybrid that I will never find any more info about. The downtube is a teardrop profile that's pretty distinctive and the Newest is the only one I can find like it.
Comment by PeterT on July 25, 2012 at 1:31pm I am curious, how hard is it to keep the yellow tires looking... yellow ?
Not a problem if he rides on the Yellow Brick Road!
Comment by kirby on July 25, 2012 at 5:48pm I want my fuji the same.
Comment by John Knight on July 25, 2012 at 10:43pm The yellow tyres stay yellow in the dry - no problem.
They don't like the wet though. I think it's the Ultegra brake pads - They make the bike totally filthy with black streaks that go everywhere and don't easily wipe off. A rag with spray and wipe of the only way to clean the brake pad stains off everything - esp the yellow paint and the tyres.
