Alan Todd replied to PeterT's discussion Senate Inquiry into Personal Choice and Community Impacts in the group Helmetless riders
"What a great submission Dan.  I would certainly encourage you to do a second submission, or appendix to the current one, specifically rebutting RACS and UNSW stuff.  Did you ask to speak to the committee?"

sydneyCommuter replied to Alan Todd's discussion Radio National and Bicycle Helmets in the group Helmetless riders
"“Hand picked experts say Mr. Todd was wrong, and without looking at the evidence he has sent to us, we agree." That sums up the “thinking” of helmet law supporters. This is the tyranny of the idiots, who think that somehow…"

Alan Todd replied to John of Willoughby's discussion A helmet protected my brain in the group Helmetless riders

About Me:
I have been "utility" riding for over fifty years, both here and in more bike friendly places. In common with about a billion cyclists world wide in 193 countries, I don't see any need to wear a silly little helmet. I have joined Sydney cyclist as the level of understanding around utility cycling seems a bit more developed there than in Victoria, which is stuck in the dark ages of safety mania.
