"I have heard that insurers will usually go after each other onn a bang for bang basis in some accidents. If your friend has BNSW membership they do have insurance through cyclecover, who may go after the driver to recoup the payout."

Safety is a priority so I choose my rides accordingly - too many aggro drivers to ride everywhere I'd like to. But lots of great places to ride and escape the madness!!

Undulating road out to West Head lookout is freshly tarred with the smoothest black stuff you will ever see. What a way to get 40km under the belt. And the view at the end is magic. Highly recommended (check they're not doing fire burn off the day you want to go - very smoky)

thanks for the response, yeh i have done the NB to manly trek many times, in summer i go for a swim at Queenscliff ocean pool. I love (funnily enough) cycling through the city and bondi beach is also good. I have only cycled CP once, and I can't remember what that was like! I work weds unfortunately and only have a softail mtb.
