If you are a serious roadie. Lidcombe Auburn Cycling club have a training ride every Tuesday and Thursday. Starts at 6.00am at the Sydney Olympic Park train station. You'll see 100+ people there.....so hard to miss. They ride in groups depending on your speed (ie group 1 average about 42km/h+, down to about 30km/h average in group4/5). The training ride goes for about 45mins. So enough time to get back to concord by 7.00am. Mail me if you want more info.
BayBUG rides on a Saturday morning starting approx 6.45am. There are various groups (slow. medium, fast). So you'll find something that suits there. Checkout the website http://www.baybug.org.au/ for details on the ride.
cheers
