"Cool. I think it's going to be a great event. Which side of the bridge? Did you get the draft coat of arms?"

"Hi Chris, Yes the idea seems to have legs and wheels. And I would love to have spoke cards for this event. They are the certificates to be handed out with great ceremony Cheers Garry"

East Sydney
Tell us about your bikes
I have two excellent and cheap hybrids, one which rides as comfortably as an armchair, and the other for everyday use. Also a great mountain bike for riding down the stairs of St Mary's Cathedral.
About Me:
I like cycling alone and also in smallish groups. If riding in a group I prefer it to have a social feel about it, talking and riding two or more abreast where safe, and stopping to take in special places and have picnics.

Hi Garry,

No it wasn't that Neil, but the Neil from Neil & Alexander.

I supplied the tail "light" but someone else provided the headlight. You're welcome to keep the tail light if you like. It cost me nothing, is hardly ever used except as a reflector and is not worth worrying about.

Sorry you had to pull out on Thursday night. We stopped on a really nice headland, not that much further on, with fantastic views up and down the coast, to consume picnic food and drink. (CV, of course, had wine; a nice drop too!) Only problem was the cool breeze which chilled us all -- wine was a partial anti-dote. Oh, and there was the loss of sleep but it is holidays so we can catch up!

Hope to see you next full moon. And hope you might get your bike back... Long shot, maybe.

Sorry Garry, I wasn't the "Neil" who supplied the lights. Re the stolen bike: I think thieves are scum - "hanging is too good for them" and other dastardly thoughts. Makes you wonder about all those people you see riding without a helmet, have they just stolen the bike?

Hi Garry. No, wasn't me either, sorry.
