My argument wasn't that all stats are lies. It is a simple fact that statistics can and are manipulated to achieve the high ground in an argument on many occasions. The IPCC has released results of their studies on climate change & their research ba…

It is not fair Martin to compare cultures as they are unique. What works in Copenhagen may not work here & vice versa. To compare cultures opens more doors than it closes.

Bike Train Bike, Making that difficult journey

Mark R, a member of CAMWEST has an interestingly analytical mind at times and has posted an interesting comparison of Journey times for different commutes that he has had to make at times on the CAMWEST Website.

I too have similar tales, but not as detailed as Mark. My commute usually took about an hour into the city at 0500 hrs & th

Cycleway Protest at Cherrybrook

This article appeared in the current issue of the Hills Shire Times & highligts some of the issues facing the future of cycling in Sydney.

From a look at Google Maps, this road is two lanes each way & services a reasonably large housing subdivision & joins New Line Road Dural to Castle Hill Road. The modifications no doubt inconvenience motorists travelling through but should assist local residents.

Perhaps some input from our Letter Writers may assist the cycling cause.… Continue

John, I meant to ask you what the temps (day and night) were at the time that you went to the Flinders, and when it was. We were there in June/July a few years ago and it was cool.

G"day John.

I'd be interested in a bit more info on your trip to Wilpena Pound. I'd been planning on doing it myself at some stage, and now circumstances are such that I may be able to do it next year. Probably alone or with another couple. Route details would be good.

Hey John,

Thanks for the welcome. I've just had a look at the site, hopfeully I'll be able to join you guys for a ride (but I might wait until I'm a bit faster). If you run the days for newer people, please let me know.... I love riding, but I get a bit worried riding on the road on my own so I'd love to hear what you guys have to say.

Hi John, my brother lives at Glen Martin - you should know that area - Punch's Road? In the mean time, I wrote to the Silver City Treddlers about their next group Big Ride soon after New year (when we last spoke) but I didn't ever receive a reply. Do you have details of their next ride?
