Oh dear. According to that I'm not really cut out for knighthood.
I can't grow hair on top of my head and hate shaving!

I'll have to look around for a chainmail jersey and knicks with solid pewter chamois :-)

Joys of the family bike ride

Posted on October 3, 2013 at 9:09pm 8 Comments

We're staying up in the Myall Lakes NP as we do every October and this morning we went on my traditional family bike ride.

The weather was a little cooler, a little cloudy, perfect. Rain predicted for the afternoon. OK.

Lovely. We made it to the rain forest just in time for a light shower. No big deal.… Continue

We got down to Torquay on Friday late afternoon. It was absolutely freezing, and raining and blowing pretty hard when we went out for dinner.

I was so glad I packed everything and bought arm warmers just the week before!

It was overcast, damp and a bit breezy a the beach for the start.…
