"Councils get dependent on JCD to erect bus shelters etc in return for advertising space, so are reluctant to remove any bill boards or end panels on bus shelters that are blocking sight lines or paths. The contracts are supposed to be hard to vary.…"

"U mean the JC Decaux ones? We did try to get that one removed some time ago but there is a contract and JCD will not agree to remove them and council seems afraid to take action. The ones on Pyrmont Bridge ought to go too"
