"Welcome! I use the same bit of cycleway and since it's the highlight of my commute, all I can say is, it's got better since it opened! Cars mostly give way these days and fewer vehicles park on it :) It may help to give everyone who looks…"

"I've come to the conclusion that "logical conversation" is never going to make a difference to these people. You need to get in one quick comment which makes it clear why you are upset with their behaviour and get outta there before…"

"I met one close-passer today. I caught up with him and had a chat, focusing on the fact we both had families to go home to and what he did was dangerous to me. Logical conversation ended when he said he 'pays to be on the road.' Now…"

"I hope you are ok Daniel. Hit and runs are becomming more and more prevalent - against all vehicle types. I have been hit and run twice in the last 12 months on the pushbike - one definitely deliberate, and one very much suspected so. Managed…"

"That is disgusting. That the motorist drove away, not that the Police are unable to do anything. I'm glad to hear you're ok though..."

"So much for the illusion of rego/licensing huh? Well, good to see you are up and around and posting on this website, I'm assuming that because you weren't carted away in an ambulance and didn't mention any major injury you managed to…"

"Police came after about an hour of waiting around. No camera and was told that without a numberplate, it's almost impossible to find the culprit. "

"Snapped forks and zero justice. That sucks. Did you have video evidence and/or make a police report and get shafted ?"

"I leave Bourke before Surry Hills but my assumption is that  all vehicles are turning until they have passed by. and every time I relax I get a reminder"

"So people have moved on from the "I'm indicating so get out of my f@#$ing way" theory?"

"Got taken out in a hit and run about 5 weeks ago while riding down the cycleway. Snapped forks and zero justice. Had bright lights and clothing on. I can't help but think some very steep speed humps at either end of each intersection crossing…"

"Hell - hardly anyone uses indicators anymore... Yup, indicators are definitely now for signalling 'here's what I just did' rather than 'here's what I'm about to do'!"
