Hi Yogi! Well there are several Coffee establishments in Thirroul, and possibly only one I would recommend. The 'Tin Shed' cafe is across the road from my shop and the girls there know what they are doing. At this time I can't recall the brand off c…
Doddsy,
It was not a personal attack "because I do not have an argument". I am relatively new to cycling but I have been a copper for 35 years & 5 months & am the son of a copper who served in country locations for all of my childhood & have seen cl…
Interesting discussion and I agree and disagree with both sides. On some rides I'll run red lights. It's not for safety purposes, for ego, to race other cyclists or anything like that, it's purely because I choose to do it, which is mostly because i…

One thing i don't understand is why people that J-walk see Cyclists running red lights as such a serious offence.
Every time a pedestrian j-walks their reason is to simply cross a road (and they have their own sidewalk…
Are bicycles going thru red lights and stop signs that big a problem? With the amount of venom on the subject you would think thousands of cyclists are doing it every day. I cycle 5 days a week and see far more cars zip thru reds and stop signs than…

I just want to make my position very clear - its NOT OK to run red lights. I was driving my truck through Brighton le Sands this morning around 7.45am. I passed a group of about 10 cyclists heading south on the 3 lane main road and I came to a stop at the red light in the main shopping strip. I watched in my rear view mirror as the bunch approached the red light and then proceeded to ride - all 10 of them - straight through it.

Just saw your shop's website in Thirroul. Noticed that you sell longboards as well as cruiser-style city bikes. These are my two obsessions! I'll drop in and say hello one day. I sometimes go to Mt Keira to ride down it (on a skateboard). Here's my site: http://www.skateboardracing.org.au
