What to do with this lovely 10-speed?

Would love some advice on what to do with this old thing that I've inherited from my mother.


I'm not entirely sure what the frame is, maybe a Fuji? Stem and handlebars are Sakae. 

I'd like to keep the frame (obviously), handlebars and stem but am not attached to anything else. I'd like to do some of it myself, but am no bike mechanic, so…
