Cyclist down on William Street

A cyclist was on the road next to the William Street cycle lane yesterday. About 6:30.  He was being well looked after by a few folks that had closed off the space around him using thier car and obviously knew a bit of first aid (including waving others on so as not to crowd him).  Does anybody know if he was ok?  Would also be good to know why this happened, given that dedicated cycle infrastructure should be making us safer. A 4wd that seemed to have been involved was pulled over - of course…See More

"To add to that, a Shimano mtb  front derailleur has a different cable pull than a shimano road front derailleur, hence the flat bar and mtb front shifters are not interchangeable."
