"Best way that I can see is Greens Rd - crossing over Moore Park Rd - go right - on the sharepath - crossing Anzac Pde - keep following the sharepath through Moore Park keeping to the left side of South Dowling St going south - crossing over South…"
"1. Got to Amsterdam and had a lovely cycle around with my wife - lots of fun.
2. My daily commute was improved again - this time by the Alison Rd really smooth, wide and pedestrian / cyclist separated cycleway. Beautiful. Thank you Randwick…"
""an advanced stop line must be preceded by a 10 metre minimum length of Bicycle Lane."
It could be said that at Oxford and College that there is a Bicycle lane preceding the intersection - the Bike/Bus Lane (they even have bike stencils in…"
"That isn't a ASL - that is just a green lane that goes up to the traffic lights. A proper ASL would have a green box across all lanes thus showing bikes have priority over cars at the intersection - get to start first etc."
"I'd just be happy if RMS put in a few ASL on the road - Oxford and College is crying out for one. As is Flinders and Moore Park Rd on a few of the sides. I wouldn't mind one at the corner of Lawson St and Gibbons St, Redfern - that…"
"I think a lot of the problem is not that the bike infrastructure isn't good - some of its amazing. Its just that it might be next to a smooth road that is a lot quicker for you to take. "I walk along xx street and there's a nice cycle…"
"I really think people going down the hill should use the bus lane - and only people going up the hill should use the SUP. See that people going down the hill on that path really are going to be having a hard time of it."
"Yes worried that a lot of councils will now cut bike budgets - and state government the same.
Would like to know how much liaison will be happening federal to state - seeing as the councils have gone over State Government's head on this.
The four Everything's Connected videos are really great, thanks for pointing them out, you should perhaps start a discussion with links pointing these out, give them more prominence, people might miss the them buried in the videos section.
Well there isn't much to say about them really - its preaching to the converted here. But its good to see promotion for cycling. I suspect that the people here might make snide remarks about them - like the girl riding home from going out has no lights on her bike =) But it is complementary to the NY and London cycling promo material - personalising cycling by having a person talk about their experience cycling.
