Every day of the eight days we spent in Bright prior to the Audax ride, the temperatures soared over thirty degrees. The day of The Ride was no different with a predicted maximum of 36 degrees. As the wimp of the group, I chose to enter the 70km ride which was simply Bright to the top of Mt Buffalo and return. That meant that the ascent of Buffalo was done in the cool of the morning, with the mist still rising from the valley below.........…

OK, Neil wants me to write stuff about my recent adventure in the Victorian High Country. The written word does not come as easily to me as it does to Neil and others, so I am warming up with a couple of WITWIMB guessing games.
