The Day of the Audax Ride 2012

Posted on February 3, 2012 at 8:22pm 6 Comments

Every day of the eight days we spent in Bright prior to the Audax ride, the temperatures soared over thirty degrees.  The day of The Ride was no different with a predicted maximum of 36 degrees.  As the wimp of the group, I chose to enter the 70km ride which was simply Bright to the top of Mt Buffalo and return.  That meant that the ascent of Buffalo was done in the cool of the morning, with the mist still rising from the valley below.........…

OK, Neil wants me to write stuff about my recent adventure in the Victorian High Country.  The written word does not come as easily to me as it does to Neil and others, so I am warming up with a couple of WITWIMB guessing games.

Those who were there (Neil, Mr O', Matt_C, EMT,...?) please excuse yourselves from these..........  Here is the first photo....…

G'day Leigh. I've been a bit side tracked. All being well I hope to follow it up in the new year. At the last meeting of NCM we discussed membership requirements and consequently NCM will also be reviewing them too as there are a number of people who have indicated that they will not be renewing with BNSW but they wish to remain as NCM members..
