"I have a road bike I'm not using if you need one. It's taking up space so you can keep it as long as needed. Avanti Sprint 56cm, it just needs a new rear tyre and tube."

"Is it a global thing as in, you cannot reply to any existing reply, or is it only certain replies you cannot reply to? If it is the latter I think there is a maximum thread depth set. But if it is the former, then it is something else."

Just thought I would share this pic I snapped yesterday after a bit of bike shopping with my ex:

From left to right: Byron Cheater (Piece of crap), Esperia Partner (new), Avanti Sprint (my old bike - might rebuild or retire), Potenza Forza (my new bike), BSO (my slow utility…

Afternoon all,

Just thought I would take some time out to tell you all of a fateful trip that started out as a three hour tour (not quite, a 80 minute commute). I had just gotten ready and was heading out. Each morning I have to navigate a flight of tiled steps that are usually covered in dead and dying flowers. I've always thought that one day I will slip and break something. Today was *almost* that day. As I took my first step and shifted my weight onto my right foot, out it went.… Continue

I've found responses to your "I love my work" to be heartening. How about a tab on this site for workplaces/buildings that cater for bikes in Sydney. It could describe the facilities available and who to contact to use them. Just a thought.

Hi Peter,
Got your SMS re NYE ride - Thanks.
We're probably having dinner at the Indian Restaurant in Rooty Hill (in the plaza area, just near Eddie Salas Cycles) before the ride if you'd like to join us.....6.30pm (Have to confirm with Restaurant yet though).

Hi Peter, So very sorry to hear about your bike being stolen. That must have made a happy night less happy! Do you think there is any hope in looking around at second hand or cash converters' shops? I don't even remember the brand - mainly because it was dark. Let me know if there's anything we can do to help/ Best regards for a much improved 2009, Leigh

Hi Peter, I don't know whether you have been keeping abreast of development vis a vis the Tweed Run, but your name was mentioned as a potential photographer for our photoshoot ride next Sunday (29th March from 8 am in CBD). Are you available/willing/equipped to help out?

Actually, just as I was writing that to you, Susan was writing an alternative arrangement option in the Tweed Run photoshoot discussion page. Now it looks like we are having the photoshoot on 5th April with Fixit taking the photos and bringing some Pashley bikes for us to pose with. So, don't worry about this weekend, I will let you know what develops .......it is getting really hard to find times when everyone is available.....

Hi Peter, it was great to bump into you again today. Perhaps next time I meet you I my brain won't be so fuzzy from work.

I hope you had a great ride home.
