"Thanks for the alert to the Mobius 2. The link mentioned the Runcam 2 and the Foxeer 2, which I had not seen. The Runcam 2 has a couple of things to address Mobius deficiencies - swappable battery and App control - nice!"

"I agree on two Mobius. Instead of velcro use 3M Dual Lock (stronger) and attach a loop of fishing line in case it lets go. The new Mobius has a longer life battery."

"I'd say helmet, but only if it's a small form factor camera like a Mobius or Tachyon. If a bike mount, then ask what you are trying to do. It's pretty hard to get police to use video evidence for a close passing offence, so you are…"

"I read somewhere that you shouldn't, so it can cool properly. And I've only been rained on once in many rides (Brisbane)."

"Interesting! I wonder if it can be retro-fitted. I'll have a look at the blog page some time (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1890774)."

"The mobius weather cover weighs just a few grams. It's just a silicon cover - you can also get a diving case from Joovu if you want to go hardcore. With the weather cover, you can plug a power pack in the back. As to button sequence, 1, 2,…"

"Interesting - thanks for posting the vid. I'd like to see the Mobius up against it (1080p, 38g, around $110 with weather cover). I'll try to post a clip next week."

"Thanks Dabba. I might get one of those. I bought a larger unit, an IntoCircuit T5000, and it is good. However the test run with a 32 GB card cut out after 2.5 hours even though I'd only used 17 GB and had plenty of power left. Not sure what…"

"You Sydney folks need to get fighting for the Safe Passing Distance (aka Stay the F*^& Away) laws. They've made a huge difference here in Qld - basically we are not getting skimmed any more (touch wood). I think the drivers are happier too,…"
