Most Dangerous Sydney Road Designs

I would like this discussion to highlight road designs that have been made dangerous for cyclists. To kick it off, I would suggest the 3 chicanes on White Street, Balgowlah deserve a special award.  White Street is wide and has plenty of room for cycles and cars to have their own lanes.  However the council has put 3 chicanes in the high gradient section (cycles are going slowest and cars accelerating) that force the cycles and cars in and out of one narrow lane. This makes the street like a…See More

I have a single tracked mind. The unicycle is my preferred cycle.
About Me:
I would like to see Sydney become a cycle city. It will make us healther, friendlier and better for the environment. I know this will happen as the planet runs out of petrol, but I don't see why we should wait.
