I would like this discussion to highlight road designs that have been made dangerous for cyclists. To kick it off, I would suggest the 3 chicanes on White Street, Balgowlah deserve a special award. White Street is wide and has plenty of room for cycles and cars to have their own lanes. However the council has put 3 chicanes in the high gradient section (cycles are going slowest and cars accelerating) that force the cycles and cars in and out of one narrow lane.
