Tell us about your bikes
Surly Pacer - My wet days ride. Built from old parts & groupset, it's a solid reliable bike without feeling like a wheelbarrow. It feels quick like a road bike should but I can bounce off gutters without expecting the crack of carbon!

Surly Steamroller - Fixed, silent & smooth. I often train on this bike. It keeps me pedalling.

Surly Big Dummy - This is my start & end of the working week commuter. It carries everything I need. On weekends it can be loaded up with my 9 & 7 year olds for a nice cruise to the pool or shops.

(Sold 2009)Surly Pugsley - I ride this monster truck of bikes on social mtb rides & the occassional enduro event. With 4" wide tyres and weighing around 40 pounds it will not be taking me to any podium finishes. But it always takes me to a happy place and sometimes I can surprise a few people with its capabilities.

(RIP 2009, It died that I might live)Salsa La Raza - My workhorse road bike. OX true temper steel tubing. I do my commuting, training & Sat morning rides with the Stanmore crew on this bike.

(Sold 2010)Ibis Silk Road - This is my bling machine. Full carbon frame & fork & everywhere else that reduces weight without reducing reliability or comfort. Only comes out on dry days when I really have to do my best. Last year it helped me knock an hour of my PB in the Alpine Classic.
About Me:
Since I smashed the bike of a friend's older brother I've been obsessed with bicycles. 30 something years later it is my sport, my hobby, my pass-time & my business.

In 2009 I was nearly killed when I was run down on the M4. Two years later I'm nearly recovered. Lately I've been getting keen on cycling again. I always kept riding after bones mended but the mind takes longer.
