Deore XT BR-M8000 Vs Acera M395 Disc Brakes for Heavo Cargo and Steep Hills

I hope it's ok to post this here because I'd really like to hear from experienced MTB riders re these brakes, because MTB riders know brakes better than most riders.I'm modifying a (soon to be motorised) Yuba V4 cargo bike that will carry a couple of hundred kilos down some steep hills, so I want good brakes.I can get the Deore XT BR-M8000 for about $60 below the Acera M395.I hope to hear back soon.Thanks,RikSee More

Deore XT BR-M8000 Vs Acera M395 Disc Brakes for Heavo Cargo and Steep Hills

*Boardman racer w higher stem & cruiser bars to accomodate injuries & just adding Alfine 8 Internal hubs.
*Yuba Mundo with Rohloff hub and small mid drive motor for work.
*ex-Port Philip Pedicab in conversion to cargo trike. Will soon transfer my Rohloff & motor to this & sell the Yuba.
Then I look after family bikes including Peugeot mixtes, another mister w a Nexus 8 and a cheap hardtail 29er.
About Me:
I've also worked in music, circus, theatre, media and I'm also a housewife. Most recently I ran an organics business which was very low carbon, zero waste and ... zero profit. I'm now enjoying cruising with Greenstreet Solutions: a bike based handyman business, vege gardening and getting my trike sorted
